This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by Immunoaffinity chromatography using Human IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation.

Application Notes Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA and Immunohistochemistry aswell as other phosphatase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring extremely lowbackground levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer andspecificity. This product has been assayed against 1.0?μg of Human IgG in a standard capture ELISAusing pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate as a substrate for 30?minutes at room temperature. Aworking dilution of 1:5,000 to 1:20,000 is suggested for this product.

Other applications not tested.
Otimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Concentration 1.0 mg/mL
Buffer 0.01 M Tris Chloride, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, 0.001 M Magnesium Chloride, 0.0001 M Zinc Chloride, 50?% (v/v) Glycerol,?pH 8.0 with 10?mg/mL Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) IgG and Protease free as stabilizer and 0.05?% (w/v) sodium azide as preservative.

Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice Do not freeze! Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity.
Do not add Sodium azide.
